The Green Jelly Bean
This is my beloved Green Jelly Bean, the only bike I ever owned that carried me to any trophies. I actually won some on this 1986 Kawasaki KX250 during my midlife crisis. I did as well as a 1st place finish in a Hare Scrambles event, and even managed a 2nd in a motocross race, which I was never good at. Give the credit to the bike and some luck, not me, the rider. I'm not a bad rider, I'm just not a very good one. Note the ever-present costumes (Mr. Regular B.M. and a Carlsberg Elephant head) and the wood puppet stage peeking around the Jelly Bean in the background. This was taken during the days of making costumes at the shop in Fenton where I kept the Jelly Bean.
